To assist you with your booking, or to give you a run-down of more information relating to our kite course and kitecamp in Tarifa , here’s a list of your questions we have answered for you.

NOT AT ALL! Kitesurfing is not a sport that requires great physical fitness. You just need to know how to swim and feel comfortable in the water. Of course It will make you work your entire body, so you will feel soreness at the beginning of your kite course.
OF COURSE. Conditions in Tarifa can be harder than other kite spots but we have everyday total beginners happy of their week! You will learn everything that will make you become a strong and good independent rider 😉
In the kite lessons all the necessary equipment is included. Bring just few things such as: Sport Wear / Bikini / Sunglasses / Sunscreen / Cap / Refillable bottle 1L.
You can bring your own wetsuit if you want but depending on the season better a 5/4 or 3/2 integral.
YES 60% Many people come SOLO but always leaving with a bunch of new friends & good memories. It’s also a great way to connect and get out of your comfort zone.
YES in our Kite & Yoga Camp… Yoga classes are scheduled morning and afternoon with different style for the test of everyone… Every Monday evening there is a mindfulness session with Reiki.
You can join the KITE CAMP with Kite course & Stay in our Surf Lodge with personal training to improve advanced tricks. For guests coming SOLO & riding upwind we usually offer private classes & rental gear, or Semi-private for friends of same level…
We do not have fixed kite schedule. Wind change all the time. The earliest we can start is meet at 10:30 am at the kitespot and end at 8:30pm, depending on the season and sunlight. We send you the kite schedule every evening for the next day. Working 7 days a week 😉
We have guests ranging everywhere from 18-65 but the majority is between 30-45 years old.
If you are not flexible in your dates and have a specific time to come to Tarifa, Yes, we highly recommend you to pre-book your stay. We will lock the spot for you in our kite schedule, and then we will adapt to the wind.
Yes we recommend to rent a car to be really flexible & Independent in Tarifa. There is no communal transport only taxis. Follow our link bellow to get all the best advice to get to Tarifa.
You are only charged for the pack hours done. No wind, we cancel the lessons and we suggest you other activities to plan in Tarifa. Like you have on the link below.
YES YOU CAN! But we guarantee the price of the semi-private only if we have another student to pair you of the same level. If not, we will do 2h of private lessons a day rather than the 3h we should do at the semi-private rate. An extra of 17€/day.
There isn’t any windy season in Tarifa! Most of the kite schools reopen when Semana Santa gives the start. Or a little bit earlier. The main season remains from March to November. With better Wind / Water conditions from April to October for people learning. Winter time stay uncertain, more difficult for beginners, but still good for advanced riders.
On the Hostels you have a shared kitchen well equipped and some necessary products are in free services. So you can choose to cook or to eat outside. Tarifa has many nice restaurants to try!! Lunch time is usually at the beach bar of the kitespot. Check out our list below.
